The modern Drag Pride flag was designed by Veranda L’Ni and officially debuted at the 2016 Austin International Drag Festival. An earlier version of the Drag Pride flag, known as the Feather Pride Flag, was created in 1999 by artist Sean Campbell. The updated design has since become one of the most widely recognized symbols celebrating drag communities and drag artistry.
